Discover the authenticity of Masseria Fragnite with a private Sunday experience dedicated to the Apulian cheese tradition, designed for those who want to experience the Masseria with quieter times, more attention and a personalized welcome.
This formula has a higher cost than shared tours because it is organized exclusively for your group, outside the normal schedule, with dedicated management from the Masseria, a private guide in English or French, depending on availability and the presence of the cheesemaker specific to the experience.\\ * (The group tour during the week has a lower cost and allows you to enjoy the experience for 30β¬ per person. )*
During the experience, you'll visit the Masseria, the stable, the milk room, and the cheese factory, following the milk trail until the birth of mozzarella, burrata, stracciatella, scamorza, caciocavallo, and other farm products related to the Apulian dairy tradition.
Unlike the group tour, this private experience includes a real\ * hands-on experience*: guests can participate directly in the production of mozzarella and burrata with their own hands, with the support of the cheese maker and according to the organization of the day.
During the visit, you will discover the Masseria's daily work, the relationship with animals, the processing of milk and the most important production phases. The route lets you see a real working farm and dairy farm up close, where the visit comes from the Masseria's real work.
The cheesemaker will show live the processing of pasta filata and explain the gestures, times and techniques that make our products unique. As this is a private experience, the group will be able to experience this moment up close and personal, with more opportunities for interaction, questions, and specific explanations.
The experience ends with a box/panaro tasting consisting of products made by Masseria Fragnite: cheeses, dairy products, company specialties and craft beer, depending on availability and seasonality.
It is not an easy appetizer, but a trip to a real working Masseria: production, tradition, story, craftsmanship and Apulian flavors come together in an authentic, convivial and sophisticated journey.

We recommend that you arrive about 5 minutes before the scheduled time, so you can start on time.
This experience is a private Sunday tour, organized exclusively for the booked group, outside the normal schedule of shared tours. For this reason, it involves dedicated management of the Masseria, the presence of the cheesemaker and a greater possibility of interaction than a group tour.
Unlike the shared tour, this experience may include a hands-on moment: guests can try to make mozzarella or burrata with their own hands, with the support of the cheesemaker and according to the organization of the day.
The experience takes place inside a real Masseria and a working dairy, so the itinerary can include both indoor and outdoor spaces. We recommend that you wear closed, comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
In Masseria there may be free dogs and cats. This is a real and lived rural context: if you have particular fears, allergies or needs related to the presence of animals, we ask you to let us know in advance.
In case of bad weather, the visit takes place anyway, compatible with safety and the organization of the day. The external part can be reduced to a short walk to the stable, while more space will be given to visiting the dairy, the demonstration of the cheesemaker and the practical part.
The tasting takes place in a covered outdoor area, but open to the outside: for this reason you could sense ambient temperature, wind, humidity or coolness, depending on the season and weather conditions. In case of rain, wind or low temperatures, we recommend that you bring an umbrella, jacket or scarf.
The language of the experience will be the one indicated in the product sheet or agreed at the time of booking, compatible with the availability of the guide.
The experience ends with a box/panaro tasting with products made by Masseria Fragnite, depending on availability and seasonality.
For allergies, intolerances or specific dietary needs, we ask you to let us know everything in advance, preferably at the time of booking.
For celiac guests: we do not produce specifically gluten-free foods and we do not offer a dedicated gluten-free menu. However, we can replace gluten-containing foods with alternatives available for tasting. Cheeses and cold cuts are produced and/or prepared in areas other than those where gluten-containing baked goods are managed. However, we cannot guarantee the total absence of cross-contamination.
For cow's milk allergy or lactose intolerance: we do not produce cheeses free of cow's milk. Our pasta filata products, such as mozzarella, burrata, stracciatella, scamorza and caciocavallo cheese, are made with cow's milk. We also produce some three-milk aged cheeses, with goat, sheep and cow's milk, but we don't have products that are completely free of cow's milk. We do not produce specifically lactose-free cheeses, but some aged cheeses may have a naturally very low or no lactose content due to maturation. In any case, this is not a certified lactose-free line.
For dried fruit allergy: if notified in advance, we will avoid serving any sweets or products containing almonds, nuts or other dried fruit. However, baked goods can be made in environments where dried fruit is used, so we cannot rule out possible cross-contamination. Furthermore, dessert is not always expected and may vary depending on the availability of the day.
In case of serious allergies, we invite you to contact us before booking or in any case before the visit, so that we can evaluate together if and how to adapt the tasting to your needs.
